Section 1.1 - Course Introduction
What is this course about?
This course is designed for anyone interested in learning Arduino, whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience. It’s fully online, so there’s no need for physical kits or circuitry. Each course is broken into chapters, and within each chapter, there are a series of videos that guide you through key concepts step-by-step. After each video, you’ll have exercises to practice on your own, allowing you to apply what you’ve learned. By the end of the course, you’ll be working on larger projects that combine all the skills you’ve acquired.
The focus of the course is on practical implementation, not just theory. Whether you’re experienced or completely new to Arduino, the goal is to help you build circuits and develop software that work in the real world. Instead of diving deep into abstract concepts, we’ll be concentrating on getting hands-on and helping you bring your ideas to life with Arduino. You’ll also get to see examples of cool projects that you'll get to work on yourself to give you inspiration and the guidance you need to work on a project in the future, all on your own.
Physical Arduino Kits
If you're interested in learning about Arduino by using a physical kit, you're more than welcome to do so. Note that this course will rely on TinkerCAD for all material, however, everything done in TinkerCAD is directly transferable to a physical Arduino Kit. Here are some recommended kits:
